Story

My story: From my encounter with English to the opening of Japanese language classes

I was born in Gifu Prefecture in 1996. I was interested in foreign cultures from an early age, and at the age of 11, I went to Australia alone for a week of homestay. While I felt frustrated that my host family and school couldn't understand my English, I was also moved and greatly inspired by the joy I felt when I was able to communicate.

After returning to Japan, I started studying English on my own. I imitated the way Miley Cyrus, the main character of my favorite TV show at the time, "Hannah Montana," spoke, and continued to practice with the sole desire to speak to my English teacher.

After that, while working as a nurse, I found my work as an English interpreter at a hospital particularly rewarding. I wanted to work in a job that required more English, so I started giving lessons to foreigners on a platform that teaches Japanese. However, I felt that the hurdles to learning Japanese were a little high for learners due to the poor usability of the site, the high tuition fees, and the limited teaching materials.

So I started my own platform and opened a Japanese language class that was more flexible and easier to learn. Here, we strive to provide people from all over the world with the opportunity to take classes tailored to their interests and abilities, and to bring the joy of learning to them.
